We are a family owned local business here in Alaska. North Pole Coffee Roasting Company has been in the specialty coffee business for over twenty years serving Alaskans and consumers worldwide. Founded in June 1992, we were the first full service coffee roaster and retailer in the Interior of Alaska.

We provide freshly crafted roasted coffee using imported coffee beans from around the world. Our coffee is never stored, but rather we roast small batches based on our daily/weekly demands.

We take great pride in our product and service quality, but more importantly, we stand behind our customer’s complete satisfaction.

North Pole Coffee feels strongly about supporting our local community and we strive to be a helpful presence as well as a desired community member in as many ways possible.

From our founding in 1992 until today, this is our story with roots in family and heritage.

Founding

Founded in 1992 by Tom Bartels, we were the first full service coffee roaster and retailer in the Interior of Alaska. Our namesake comes from our oritingal location and the home of Tom, North Pole, Alaska.
